If you're faily new to making hash or just feeling particularly lazy, it is very easy to take a handful of marijuana, place it on a screen, and shake it up! What You'll Need

To start the process of resin collection utilizing this method, you'll need:

  • Cannabis - trim or bud
  • At least one of our screens
  • One scraping tool - straight razors or credit cards will do the trick
  • A flat, clean surface for your hash to fall on

The Process

Prepare Your Materials

  • Place your sifter over a bucket, table, or some sort of clean surface for the hash to fall on.

Begin Shaking the Screen

  • Gather your plant materials and place them on the sift. Then, begin moving them around. You can use your hands for this, or a gentle tool. You can also try shaking the screen back and forth or up and down. We recommend circling the marijuana back and forth to avoid damaging the product - just think "wax on, wax off", and you'll have your hash in no time.

20 Minutes Later

  • Once you've collected all that you can (typically about 20 minutes later), remove the screen and begin scraping your hash into a pile. You'll want to collect this and store it for when you're ready to use it.

Try Upgrading Your Screen

  • If you started with the 73 or 160 screen, try moving up a screen size to see what else you can get out of the remaining bud you began with. You may be surprised with how much more you can shake off and still get a good product out of it.
